4 PM at Bogens!!!
- Upcoming events:
- August 26th (Friday): Classics Table. 4:00 PM. Traditional gathering of all students and faculty in Classics courses. No real agenda, just a social time to see what is coming up and get to know each other. Come for 10 minutes or an hour, whatever you have time for, and have a drink and check in. In English.
- October 17th (Monday): Classics Movie Night: Alexander the Great (or "Not So Great" according to reviews)? 7 PM at the house of Professor Papillon. Popcorn and soda provided; feel free to bring something to contribute if you want. Contact Terry Papillon for directions or rides.
- November 4th (Friday): Ann-Marie Knoblauch: "Dionysus and the Chocolate Factory." Department of History Faculty Research Seminar. 3:30-5:00 PM. Major Williams 431.
- November 11th (Friday): 10th annual Hummel Lecture: Christopher Craig, University of Tennessee: "Honesty and Politics in Cicero's Rome" . 5:30 PM. More info to come.
- December 7th (Wednesday): Saturnalia. End of the calander year celebration at the Bugh home. 4:00-6:00 PM. Bring along some snack to share, if you can. Come for a last gasp before finals start and wish our spring Classics graduates well. Contact Terry Papillon for directions or rides.
