Certificate in French for Business This certificate is issued by the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures to French majors upon successful completion of 1) French 3164 Business French (was FR 3104) 2) French 4164 Topics in Business French (was FR 4984) 3) Achieve at least the level of "Diplôme de français professionnel B1 (DFP B1)" on the Chambre de de Commerce et d'Industrie de Paris (CCIP) examination. Students can take this exam either in Blacksburg or in Paris at the CCIP. A "C" or better must be earned in both courses.
